JScript Editor Interface

The image above is from testing of the next KitCAD i3 KGC TEST release due for January 2011.

The JavaScript function editing interface allows users to change code related to KitCAD i3 KGC output generation data. The editor does not include full support for all KitCAD i3 KGC output formats but includes support for the standards of Anima8e, Quote/PDF, Vrml, and Sketchup-Ruby.

The code highlighter textarea control on the JavaScript Editor Interface is powered by EditArea.

The next few upgrades to KitCAD i3 KGC (localhost test version) will trial/enable toolbar support, along with multi-language translations, and KitCAD 2.27v5 Cutup.exe support.

Support for %PROGRAMFILES(X86)% path, and fixes for other smaller bugs will be included along with the toolbar upgrades.

Uploaded a 2011 alpha test case for the JavaScript runtime optimiser & DOM Store with an example of required changes to just one KitCAD i3 KGC function.

Full changes to KitCAD i3 KGC source code are not expected to be completed and uploaded until some time in early 2011.

The example Runtime JavaScript optimizer aids users in removing unwanted cycle and command loops from scripting. The run-once feature allows the inital release of jsappcatche.js to build a store; After which repeated procedure calls to the same functions with same values are evaluated from the pre-built store; The stored functions aids Ajax, xml and repeated user navigation requests. The example DOM storage method allows for page refresh and history.back/foward navigation.
