IE Standards testing
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 works best rendering KitCAD i3 KGC (versions before 31st May 2009) in Quirks mode (IE=5) as a work-around.
The KitCAD i3 KGC (versions before 31st May 2009) is NOT working with Internet Explorer Standards 8 (IE=8). The KGC script rendering works when using Internet Explorer Standards 7 (IE=7). The past scripting interfaces for KitCAD i3 requires the default Quirks mode (IE=5) to function.
VML does still function in Internet Explorer 8 (with no real performance loss) and KitCAD i3 KGC scripting in future will be upgraded to take advantage of the new requirement/changes.
The only corrections required for KitCAD i3 KGC to be displayed using Internet Explorer 8 Standards are :-

Upgraded KitCAD i3 KGC to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 Standards rendering for IE +8 web browsers as of the 31st May, 2009.
A web browser catche refresh/delete of previous KitCAD i3 KGC is required – see Clear Catche, and instructions.
