My name is Mr. Jason Robinson, the Author of KitchenPages.com. The website includes Web Search Directory services, Information, KitCAD Previews, and other Products - all of which would not be possible without many people in product provision - thanks.

This page will provide you with the basic knowledge on why the Kitchen Pages computer software was started in the first place. It also describes my qualification's in assisting you through these sites which I have built for my self and you.

1991 to 1995 -- CIT Canberra Institute of Technology:

Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery -- Trade.

While working in the Queanbeyan and Canberra regions as a qualified cabinet maker. I have been Involved in the production of more than 1500 kitchen projects with over 250 installations from 1996 to 1999.

1997 to 2000 -- Self taught IT/computer/software programmer:

In that time, I have also learnt most, if not all of the common computer software languages from the XT PC's, compiler Pascal's. The newer AT C++, CAD/D's, Document package/s, HTML and the WWW, Submission software's, and search engine codes. All this as a very expensive hobby at around $3500 each year.

Some Products have been released, and downloaded here on the Internet in the years of 2000, 2002, and 2004.

1999 to 2000 -- Kitchen Pages:

The first mission was to provide a reasonable backup to private clients business files and applications by 1998. The software gave many other ideas. One idea was to provide a easy method of sending 3D pictures and information to others who had computers, and thus KitCAD was created.

2001 to 2004 -- KitCAD 1/2:

KitCAD was first released as a educational tool in 2000 for use on Windows operating systems by cabinetmakers; After a short break and since 2002 more time was spent in the production of KitCAD2 which was released at the end of that year to take more advantage of 3rd party software, and as a working model which allows smaller more complex interfaces to be configured by users when encounted. The following year of 2003 included many patch and fix files for working environment problems when used with 3rd party software and database data models.

By 2004 the KitCAD2 software began being seperated from development software which helped create a Test On-line version named KitCADi3 for 2D floor planning layouts and exporting data back into KitCAD2 files from a web browser interface. Other data export methods were also added for KitCAD2; including limited data exporting support for HMF, VRML, RSS, and XML.

2005 onward -- Kitchen Pages:

In the years of 2002 and in 2003 there was a large amount of data deleted from internal storage and from RAM disks that prevented a security issue that would of cost considerable amounts of money and time for myself and some others - The earlier programming code written for use at the Kitchen Pages web sites was also deleted at the same instant in time.

Because of the act that required deleted data - I have now decided that in 2005 for the years after 2006 to re-create some of the programming codes in more modern distrubted computing operating system environments. Included in this re-write will be several projects from the current releases of ClipEd, KitCAD with some others that had not been released before.
