Browser/1.0 was designed to gather large amounts of information
from the web to i) validate links, and ii) to download web pages.

The Browser/1.0 program was designed to check and validate links.
This program is run on a regular time-table to correct links and update
other web pages, or as needed. This program is not shared.

While the program Browser/1.0 was designed to search web sites it 
is very rare for such a search to be performed, however if you feel 
that you would like your site not indexed please see the robots 
guidelines, link is above.

Any form of data is acceptable for indexing, generaly indexed sites
servers will be supplied a simple GET command to validate URL status.
Some servers also include a redirection or a webpage which may also 
be saved in the final data exploit for later indexing methods.

Because of the downloading method, some robots commands may not be
seen, or accessable.  The default, In these cases of the URL 
is accessable via a web browser the URL is indexed.

Cookies can be used by administrators to set results of 
content displayed to Browser/1.0 for indexing.
